Dr. Peter Forsyth is Chairman, Department of Neuro-Oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, and Professor of Oncology at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Forsyth received his M.D. at McMaster University in Canada, completed a Neurology Residency at the Mayo Clinic and a Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Forsyth is currently investigating several tumor-inhibiting agents in Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials. His laboratory interests are in gliomas and melanoma brain metastases. His work includes using oncolytic viruses as immunotherapies, neurotrophins and their receptors.
