Kevin J. Anderson, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral associate at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, working under Dr. Roel Verhaak. He currently applies various computational approaches to study the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms that contribute to brain tumor heterogeneity and disease progression. Dr. Anderson received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University. For his thesis research he adapted a multiscale numerical simulation towards the analysis of the initial behavior of circulating tumor cell aggregates interacting with activated endothelium. Previously, he received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with honors in Science and Technology.
