Abigail Suwala is a resident at the Neuropathology department in Heidelberg and a clinician scientist at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). Her research focuses on genetic and epigenetic alterations in high-grade gliomas. She did her postdoctoral fellowship with Joe Costello at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Abigail Suwala is a fellow of the Hertie Network of Excellence in Clinical Neuroscience. As a Young Neurooncologist she is part of the Steering Committee of the EORTC Brain Tumour Group and involved in several clinical trials.
