Wei-Lun Lo is an attending physician of Shuang-Ho Hospital, Taipei Neuroscience Institute, Taipei, Taiwan.
Wei-Lun Lo was born in Taichung City in Taiwan on 1 December 1980. He graduated from medical school in Taipei Medical University in 2006. After he completed his residency training of Neurosurgery in Kaohsiung Chang-Gung Medical Center in 2012, he became an attending physician in Taipei Medical University Healthcare System. He is also going to get the Ph.D. in Ph.D. Program of Neuroregenerative Medicine at Taipei Medical University. Dr. Lo's clinical interest focused on functional neurosurgery and neuro-oncology. Dr. Lo worked with Jian-Ying Chuang, the associate professor of in Ph.D. Program of Neuroregenerative Medicine at Taipei Medical University. In terms of research interests, they focused on the investigation of chemo-radiotherapy resistance in malignant glioma. Their research team is trying to find the optimal biomarkers that indicating chemo-radiotherapy resistance. Also, they are trying to find the chemo-radiosensitizers to reverse the resistance mechanisms of malignant glioma.
