Rodrigo T. Cartaxo, PhD is a postdoctoral fellow specializing in Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) research at the University of Michigan. The scope of my research is to screen for proteins critically involved in DIPG cell migration and that can be targeted in combination with cytotoxic drugs or radiation. My goal is to find druggable targets specific to tumor cells that can simultaneously limit tumor invasion, while making cells more sensitive to cell death.
