Dr.Balagopal Pai, Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Pathology and Neuroscience, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. I completed my doctoral studies in Neuroscience at the Institute of Biomedicine, University of Bergen, Norway. I specialised in RNA biochemistry and transcriptomics during my first postdoc in Germany at the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Regensburg. I developed my expertise in noncoding RNAs including short and long- non-coding RNAs as well as circRNAs. At Mount Sinai, New York, I am studying glioblastoma heterogeneity at single-cell level and also testing new drugs in PDX and GeMM mondels in mice.
