Kristian Choate is a researcher and graduate student in the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center (UMBTC) at Northern Michigan University. Kristian is interested in rapid and convenient methods for the detection and monitoring of IDH1 mutations. Her most recent work has focused on the development of a LAMP-based genotyping panel capable of identifying common IDH1-R132 variants.
