Kelsey is a doctoral candidate at the University of Florida in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology. Kelsey received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Southern College in Fall 2016. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in clinical psychology at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in Summer 2019. In Colorado, Kelsey’s research and clinical work focused on family caregiving. Since Fall 2019, Kelsey has been working under the mentorship of Dr. Deidre Pereira in the Psycho-Oncology Lab studying the psychological impact of cancer on patients and their family caregivers, particularly young adult caregivers.
