Yohei Kitamura graduated Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan in 2004. He completed a neurosurgical residency at Keio University Hospital and obtained Japanese Neurosurgical Board Certification in 2010. He earned PhD in medical science from Keio University in 2014. After working at Department of Neurosurgery, Brigham and Women's Hospital as a postdoctoral fellow, he became an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Keio University School of Medicine.
