Lawrence Kleinberg MD is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and Radiation Molecular Sciences at Johns Hopkins with academic and clinical specialty of CNS malignancies. I am director of the cyberknife radiosurgery program and vice-chair for clinical research. . My research interests include advanced imaging techniques to better target radiotherapy and assess response, clinical trials to test novel systemic agents and combinations along with radiotherapy, and clinical trials to optimize radiotherapy for benign and malignant brain tumors. I am an active participant in NCI National Clinical Trials Network (NCI-NCTN) cooperative groups with leadership roles and experience as a trial PI and co-PI of trials of several groups.
