Allison Shelbourn is currently a Biologist within the Surgical Neurology Branch at the National Institutes of Health. She works alongside Dr. PJ Cimino, MD, PhD in the Neuropathology Unit. Their research is dedicated to the exploration of brain tumors, with an emphasis on the identification of novel oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. Leveraging advanced bioinformatic techniques, they conduct comprehensive analyses involving both human tissue and genetically modified mouse models.
