Jingwen Yao is a PhD candidate in the Bioengineering department at UCLA. She works as a student researcher in Brain Tumor Imaging Lab (BTIL), focusing on the development of advanced MRI techniques and the application on brain tumor characterization. Specifically, she is interested in using Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST)-MRI to better understand the tumor biology, and identify new imaging biomarkers for patient treatment response and prognosis.
