H. Nayanga Thirimanne, Ph.D. completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She received her PhD training in Molecular Medicine and Mechanisms of Disease at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. Currently, she works as a postdoctoral research fellow in Dr. Eric Holland's laboratory at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Seattle, USA. Her overall training and expertise include experimental research as well as computational analysis in the field of cancer biology. Her current interests focus on understanding brain tumor classifications using genomic data.
