Dr. Bosch joined Northwest Biotherapeutics (NWBio) in 2000 and currently serves as the Company's Chief Technical Officer. He is responsible for Research and Development, and for all technical aspects of bringing the company’s products into the clinic and to market. Current responsibilities include interfacing with consultants, contract manufacturers and with contract research organizations to ensure manufacturing quality and proper implementation of company guidelines in clinical trials, and overseeing clinical and regulatory affairs.
Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Bosch was an Associate Professor at the Department of Pathobiology at the University of Washington. He worked at the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, MD) and was head of the Department of Molecular Biology at the National Institutes of Health and Environmental Protection (Bilthoven, the Netherlands) prior to joining the University of Washington. He has authored more than 40 research publications in virology and immunology, and is an inventor on several patent applications on dendritic cell product manufacturing. Dr. Bosch obtained his Ph.D. in Medicine at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands, in 1987 and earned an MBA from the University of Washington in 2003.
