I am a second-year MD/PhD student at the University of Florida. My doctoral research is concentrated in cancer biology in the department of neurosurgery. My dissertation mentor is Catherine Flores, PhD. Our work is focused on understanding mechanisms underlying the therapeutic benefits observed with a novel, immunologic platform termed 'Adoptive Cellular Therapy' or 'ACT' for short.
