Savannah Duenweg, BS, is a fourth year graduate student in the Department of Biophysics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is currently working in the LaViolette Lab developing radio-pathomic machine learning models to non-invasively detect prostate cancer pathology from MRI intensity values using aligned whole mount tissue samples as ground truth, and additionally assessing associations between histology and MRI to prostate cancer biochemical recurrence. The LaViolette lab has similar radio-pathomic models currently running on our brain cancer dataset, where she also will also analyze unique relationships in brain cancer.
