Stephanie Hilz, PhD is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Costello Research Group in the Department of Neurological Surgery of the University of California San Francisco. Located in the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, our group investigates the role of genetic and epigenetic alterations in the formation of sporadic cancers, with a focus on brain tumors. Trained as a hybrid bioinformatician and molecular biologist, Stephanie is specifically interested in the integration of "omics" and imaging data to uncover therapeutically relevant patterns of cellular heterogeneity in adult diffuse glioma.
