Noah Bell (B.S.) works for the Eshelman Institute for Innovation at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill as a Research Technician. As part of the translational Living Tissue Substrate team, he uses computer vision and machine learning to automate the image analysis at the heart of this platform. Automation improves both accuracy and efficiency, allowing the team to quickly produce trustworthy, clinically-relevant results.
Noah is still exploring potential career paths. In addition to biological image analysis, Noah’s scientific interests include biomedical device design, signal processing, app design, and audio engineering. Noah also loves writing and recording music (he has a song on Spotify called “Holes”) and playing sports.
