Danielle Morrow is a graduate student in the Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology. She received her B.S. degree at the University of Maine. During the following three years she worked as a research assistant at Tufts University with Dr. Stephen Moss in Translational Neuroscience to identify novel GABA receptor subunit phosphorylation sites, identifying potential therapeutic targets. She is currently studying lipid metabolism in glioblastoma (GBM), and how molecular heterogeneity and tumor microenvironment can impact metabolic phenotypes. Danielle is interested in gaining new insights into GBM metabolism to design improved patient-specific therapy.
