My name is Tiffany Choy and I am currently a graduate student in Dr. Hyun Kyoung Lee's lab at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I received my B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego. Immediately after graduation, I worked as a research assistant at a small startup in San Diego, California, working on RNAi therapeutics. I then pivoted to cancer research at my next position as a research associate at Revolution Medicines, a precision oncology company in Redwood City, California. To take my passion for cancer research further, I am pursuing a PhD in Cancer Biology at Baylor College of Medicine. In Dr. Hyun Kyoung Lee's lab, I am focused on understanding the connection between germline mutations and glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) initiation and growth. I have made some interesting discoveries so far, and hope to dive deeper into the mechanisms behind aggressive GBM progression.
