Dr. Hyun Kyoung Lee established her lab at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and the Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children's Hospital in 2016. As a Petrello Endowed Scholar, she advanced to a tenured Associate Professor role in 2022. Throughout her career, Dr. Lee has dedicated her research to unraveling glial mechanisms in various diseases including brain cancer. In her seven years at BCM, she's been a major contributor to graduate education, directing courses and lecturing.
