I am a postdoctoral fellow currently co-mentored by Dr. Patrick Paddison at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center and Dr. Anoop Patel at Duke. My research interests are plasticity and cell state transitions in glioblastoma, regulation of these states at the epigenetic level, and the dynamics of these epigenetic states under therapeutic pressure. My research aims to understand how GBM cancer stem cells utilize epigenetic regulation to generate tumor heterogeneity and adapt to microenvironmental pressures such as cytotoxic therapeutics. I aim to leverage my research findings towards developing molecular bases for novel therapies.
