Myron Keith Gibert Jr is from Fort Washington, MD. He received a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Leadership Studies from Hampton University and a M.S. in Life and Physical Sciences from the University of Virginia. He currently works on a project concerning an understudied class of RNA molecules that demonstrate a high degree of biological conservation called transcribed ultra-conserved regions in GBM. In addition to his thesis research, Myron works as a data scientist and analyst.
