Dr. Yuji Matsumoto, MD, PhD, is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center For AI And Data Science For Integrated Diagnostics (AI2D) at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a board-certified neurosurgeon from the Japan Neurosurgical Society and is also a General Clinical Oncologist accredited by the Japanese Board of Cancer Therapy. Dr. Matsumoto earned his MD from Okayama University Medical School in 2012, and later achieved his PhD from Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2020. His diverse expertise bridges the clinical and computational arenas, facilitating a collaborative intersection between artificial intelligence and healthcare diagnostics.
