I am a third year medical student at the Northwestern University-Feinberg School of Medicine interested in exploring the intersection between basic science mechanistic discoveries and clinical practice in treating brain tumors--to help in the advent of new targeted therapies, as well as further optimizing clinical treatment guidelines. My specific interests include identifying key targets in the tumorogenesis molecular pathways of rare brain tumors, as well as helping to define the best use of radiotherapy in the treatment of low-grade brain tumors.
