Kyle M. Walsh, PhD, is Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Duke University and the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center. As Director of the Division of Neuro-epidemiology and Co-leader of the Duke Cancer Institute's Neuro-Oncology Research Program, his laboratory focuses on molecular factors underlying brain tumor predisposition and clinical outcomes. This research leverages genomic, epigenomic, and immunologic profiling to identify both heritable and modifiable factors involved in the shared neurobiology of cognition, glial senescence, and gliomagenesis in both human populations and experimental model systems.
