I am a 3rd year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine. My clinical and research interest has always been in translational cancer therapeutics. I am a graduate of Yale University, where I worked with Professor Mark Saltzman on nanoparticle drug delivery within the brain tumor microenvironment. I have also worked in academic labs at Duke University and UPMC, and further gained drug development experience while working at Genentech. My work has been published in major journals, including Science Advances and Nature Metabolism.
Currently, I work in the Amankulor lab on investigating exosome-mediated immune suppression in IDH-mutant glioma. My research has been supported by the Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation Medical Student Summer Research Fellowship, Guggenheim Family Neurosurgery Scholarship, and the ITMAT Summer Internship.
I hope to merge my interest in translational science with surgical approaches to treat brain malignancies.
