My major research interests lie in understanding the cellular and molecular basis of cancers. In particular, I am interested in the identification of genes and mechanisms associated with GBM invasion and resistance to therapies. Moreover, I am interested in studying the role of the tumor microenvironment in promoting tumor infiltration in glioblastoma. My long-term research interests to use functional genomic approaches to identify genetic and epigenetic perturbations associated with tumor formation, progression, and resistance to therapies.
