Lucas Wachsmuth, B.S., is an MD/PhD student at Duke University School of Medicine. In 2017 he joined the lab of Dr. Peter Fecci, MD/PhD, in the Department of Neurosurgery to conduct his thesis research. His thesis project is focused on generating mechanistic insights into intracranial tumor-driven immune dysfunction and developing novel translational immunotherapeutic strategies.
