Ian Lee, MD is a Neurosurgical Oncologist at Henry Ford Health. He specializes in the treatment of brain and spinal tumors and serves as co-Director of the Hermelin Brain Tumor Center in the Department of Neurosurgery. He has a special interest in developing and adopting novel surgical technologies to improve the care of patients with neuro-oncological conditions, especially laser interstitial thermal therapy. He is very active in clinical and translational research, having published over 60 peer reviewed publications. In addition, he is also passionate about education, serving as residency program director. Dr. Lee completed a neurosurgical oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center after residency training at Henry Ford Health.
