Bronwen Foreman is a fourth-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine. She first became interested in oncology research while working at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she served as the primary research coordinator on a trial investigating the combination of immunotherapy and proton radiation in the treatment of pancreatic and colorectal cancer. She began working with Dr. Zachary Reitman in 2020 on a clinical research project involving the use of stereotactic radiosurgery in adult primary central nervous system lymphoma. She then joined the basic science lab in 2022 and contributed to a project identifying mechanisms of treatment resistance in diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas. Bronwen will be applying to Medicine-Pediatrics for residency and is interested in transitional oncologic care for adult patients with a history of pediatric brain tumors.
