My name is Chengcheng Gui; I am a resident physician in the department of radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I studied chemical and biological engineering at Princeton University before receiving my medical degree at Johns Hopkins University. Currently, I am in my third year as a resident in radiation oncology. My interest in radiotherapy for neurologic malignancies originates from my time in medical school, when I was mentored by Dr. Kristin Redmond. I am humbled by unique ways in which malignancies of the central nervous system can affect patients, and I am motivated by the role and potential of radiotherapy in providing disease control while minimizing adverse effects. My current research efforts focus on using genomic and radiographic methods to better understand progression of primary and secondary neurologic malignancies.
