RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
2020-current: Laboratory of Neuro-oncology in Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan
Upon graduating from university, I embarked on a career as a neurosurgeon, especially operation of cerebrovascular diseases. However, in the year 2020, I enrolled in graduate school, initiating my research pursuits in the field of brain tumor studies. I am currently working on the following research:
• Volumetric MRI analysis of surgical resection for glioblastoma, prognostic research
• Liquid biopsy for glioma, using CSF cell-free DNA and digital PCR and multiplex-ligation-dependent probe amplification (MLPA)
• CDKN2A/B copy number analysis for lower grade glioma combining MLPA, digital PCR, and immunohistochemistry
