Klara Willms is a Research Associate at the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Neuroradiology, and a 5th year medical student from the University of Leipzig. She is currently conducting research on imaging-diagnostics in adult type IDH-mutant glioma as a member of MD/PhD Mariam Aboian's research Group (www.imaginequant.org). Currently pursuing research for her MD Thesis at the Yale School of Medicine, she is on track to graduate from the University of Leipzig in 2025. Her academic efforts are supported by the Biomedical Education Program (BMEP) scholarship, awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Her particular fields of interest include AI implementation in neurology research and clinical practice, global health, and health equity.
