Mia Salans, MD MAS is a PGY-3 resident in the department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California San Francisco. She completed her medical degree and master's degree in clinical research at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. Her research focuses on imaging biomarkers of neurocognitive function after brain radiotherapy and quality of life outcomes in patients with primary brain tumors. Her work has led to publications in Neuro-Oncology and the International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, among other journals.
