Andrew Williams, M.D. is a neurology resident (PGY-3) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MInnesota. Originally from the Twin Cities of Minnesota, he completed an undergraduate degree in biology and his medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he subsequently completed an intern year in internal medicine. He has been at Mayo Clinic since 2022 as a trainee in the adult neurology residency program. Dr. Williams has been developing academic interests in the areas of neuro-oncology as well as medical education. He is recognized by his colleagues as passionate about medical education and has worked in various formal and informal roles throughout medical school and residency to help shape and improve the curricula in which he is participating. He is also passionate about neuro-oncology from a clinical, education, and research perspective and intends to complete a fellowship in neuro-oncology.
