I am Lindsey Mehl, a Cancer Biology PhD candidate at Stanford University in Dr. Erin Gibson's Lab. I study how methotrexate chronotherapy modulates the neurological side effects of chemotherapy-related cognitive impairment, often referred to as chemo-brain. Specifically, I am interested in how time of methotrexate administration leads to differential dysregulation of glial cells including microglia, oligodendrocyte precursor cells, oligodendrocytes, and myelin. We hope that this research can help improve quality of life for cancer survivors.
