Kosuke Funato, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Center for Molecular Medicine at the University of Georgia. His research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the formation and progression of malignant brain tumors in particular pediatric brain tumors. His recent studies utilize human pluripotent stem cells as a modeling platform for rare subtypes of pediatric brain tumors.
