Aden Mendoza, MS is a third-year medical student at the Duke University School of Medicine. He is in the second of two research years in the laboratory of Dr. Peter E. Fecci, focusing on better characterizing the immune response to laser interstitial thermal therapy in animal models to inform rational clinical trialing in LITT. His work has been funded by the Eugene A. Stead Student Research Scholarship.
