Dr. Max Yankelevich is a pediatric oncologist and neuro oncologist at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, section of Pediatric Oncology. He recently joined St. Christopher’s coming from Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. Previously, he worked at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. He has a medical degree from Russia and did his general pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and Pediatric Hematology Oncology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Dr. Yankelevich has a special interest and experience in pediatric brain and spine tumors, and neurocutaneous syndromes like neurofibromatosis (NF) (Type 1, Type 2, and schwannomatosis) and tuberous sclerosis.
