Lauren Markus is a third year undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in biomedical research. As a volunteer researcher in the Robert Prins Lab at UCLA, Lauren studies the cell phenotypes present in the tumor microenvironment of recurrent glioblastoma patients using multiplex immunohistochemistry.
