Aida Karachi is an assistant scientist in the department of neurosurgery within the Preston A. Wells, Jr. Center for Brain Tumor Therapy and UF Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program (UFBTIP). She conducted several research studies and developed immunotherapy treatments for brain tumors focusing on glioblastoma. She utilizes her expertise in the field to leverage dose-modified chemotherapy to improve the efficacy of immunotherapy in a pre-clinical platform of brain tumors. Her research interests are to uncover the interaction of host immune cells and immunotherapy and improving immunotherapy for treatment of cancer.
