Mr. Arbess is multi-asset class investor and social entrepreneur whose 35-year career has been defined by purposeful enagement as an adviser and investor in transformative economic and technological developments, most recently through his $3.5 Billion Xerion Hedge Funds. His present focus is supporting healthcare stakeholders’ adaptation to the data and technology-rich environment of personalized/precision medicine.
Dan served on the steering committee of the MIT/UCSB Alzheimer’s X initiative; financing structure committee of the American Medical Association/One Mind Healthy Brain Global Initiative; Board of Directors of the Global Virus Initiative; and the corporate advisory Board of Cancer Expert Now. He has been a member of the Society of Neuro-Oncology since 2019, principally as patient advocate for promotion of personalized immune-oncology GBM treatment strategies.
He is a U.S. citizen born in Montreal, Canada; received his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School (Toronto) and LLM from the Harvard Law School. He has been an affiliate at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and is lifetime member Council on Foreign Relations and co-Founder, No Labels (advancing bipartisan Congressional collaboration).
