I'm a second-year PhD student with a strong interest in DNA repair and cell cycle. My background studies were in the field of cell and developmental biology. I believe elucidating the molecular mechanisms of these pathways can lead to new therapeutic approaches, especially in the field of glioblastoma(GBM). My research focuses on glioblastoma stem-like cells (GSCs) and how targeting DNA repair pathways or the cell cycle machinery can help eradicate GSCs, one of the main reasons for GBM recurrence
