Dr. Sudhakar Tummala MD, Professor, MD Anderson Cancer Center
Dr. Sudhakar Tummala specializes in understanding and treating neurological complications of cancer and cancer treatment. He earned his medical degree from Nagarjuna University, completed internal medicine residency training at Jersey Shore Medical Center and neurology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, and neuro-oncology fellowship at UT MD Anderson and neurophysiology fellowship UT Health Science Center Houston. Dr. Tummala has been a member of MD Anderson faculty since 2003 and serves as director of the Neurophysiology Lab. As a trained neurophysiologist and neurologist, Dr. Tummala provides services including electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potential testing, intraoperative monitoring, botulinum injections
