I am the mother of four children ages 29, 27, 18, and 10 – they are my greatest achievements.
Medical Director of Neuro-Oncology, at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in AZ and Associate Professor of Medicine and Neurology at the University of Arizona CoM. I am Adjunct Professor of Neurology at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Pennsylvania. I completed Undergraduate studies at Indiana University. I completed MD/PhD training in molecular virology, immunology, and medical genetics with a major emphasis on neuro-immunology at The Ohio State University. There, I also completed neurology residency with an enfolded NIH/R25 neurosurgery research post-doctoral fellowship. Finally, I attended the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center for neuro-oncology fellowship training. My practice philosophy is rooted in compassionate and evidence-based care that extends a quality life. I enjoy meditating, time with my family, creative writing, weightlifting, mentoring, and traveling. My research is focused on population science, brain tumor imaging, and the Neuro-Oncology of Women.
