Kathrin Thedieck’s research focuses on metabolic signaling. She completed her PhD at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (DE). She worked with Michael N. Hall in Basel (CH) and became then group leader at the University of Freiburg (DE). In 2013, she joined the University of Groningen (NL) and in 2019, she accepted the chair for Biochemistry at Innsbruck University. In 2024, the Thedieck lab will join the Research Center One Health of the Ruhr Alliance at the University Clinic Essen (DE). K. Thedieck received several awards including the German TSC Foundation and an ERC Advanced Grant.
