Jennifer L. Clarke, MD, MPH, is a professor of neurology and neurological surgery, in the division of neuro-oncology, at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is a member of the neuro-oncology program in the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is the Chair of the Cancer Center's Protocol Review and Monitoring System (PRMS). She earned her medical degree at the UCSF School of Medicine and her MPH at UC-Berkeley, then completed a residency in neurology at UCSF and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Her clinical focus is the treatment of patients with gliomas, and her research interests include both precision medicine approaches and immunotherapy approaches to treatment. In addition, she works with UCSF's brain tumor epidemiology group researching the impact of patients' systemic immune profiles on outcome.
