Divya Ventarapragada is a first-year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia. Prior to pursuing medicine, she obtained her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Georgia where she began her research career investigating the efficacy of CAR-T cell products in glioblastoma. She subsequently obtained her Master's in Neurobiology from Northwestern University and worked as a research assistant in the Ahmed Lab in the Department of Neurosurgery. During her two years of dedicated research, Divya primarily explored the role of HIF-1α and CAMKIIγ signaling in glioblastoma chemoresistance alongside other collaborations. She hopes to continue to contribute to research in Neuro-oncology as a medical student and clinician-scientist in the future.
