My name is Amanda M. Saratsis, MD FAANS, and I am a pediatric neurosurgeon for Advocate Children's Hospital in Chicagoland. My clinical and research focus is the treatment of pediatric brain tumors, particularly molecular mechanisms of high-grade and diffuse midline gliomagenesis. I currently also serve on the Executive Committee of the American Association for Neurological Surgery Pediatric Section, where I co-chair the Research Committee. Prior to my work for Advocate Children's, I served as Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery and Pediatrics at Indiana University.
